You might know NEFFA as MYCOTEX, which is the name of the mycelium-based material that we produce. In the past three years we have become so much more than just a material though: we have evolved into a fully automated manufacturing method for all kinds of biofabricated materials. This is why we decided to change our name to NEFFA, which stands for New Fashion Factory. Oscar makes cities waste-free! Oscar's goal is to reduce the residual waste flow, bundle high-quality raw material flows for reuse and increase the quality of life in an area by limiting (polluting) transport movements. With a small and sustainable vehicle, Oscar personally collects waste and raw materials from all participants seven days a week. We work with people who are at a distance from the labor market. Waste and raw materials are transported to a hub in the area. At the hub, value streams and residual waste are bundled and, if possible, pressed to be transported out of the city to processors who return the raw materials to the production process.

It does what it's supposed to do and contributes to a better climate. Melvin and Jasper - both with a passion for washing - started Seepje with their stufi in 2013. Seepje now has more than 25 washing and cleaning products that are available at more than 5,800 stores in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. And not only that... Seepje has grown so fast that the team has more than 20 full-timers!
