De Zaderij is not just a seed webshop. We are a cooperative seed company that sells seeds that have been propagated by its members. Our vegetable varieties are selected for taste and nutritional quality. Threshing with the greatest care, carefully cleaned, assessed for quality and germination power and finally packed by hand. No DNA manipulation and no technological interventions! The seeds are open-pollinated. Open-pollinated means that certain properties are fixed in the variety, generation after generation. Seeds that you obtain from the vegetables in your own vegetable garden can therefore be used again to grow the same quality vegetables. Open-pollinated vegetables have a higher nutritional value, better taste and contribute optimally to the biodiversity on our planet. We do not just grow seeds, but specifically look for quality and special properties. Shelf life : The packaging shows the packaging date (which is not always the year of cultivation). After purchase, it is best to use the seeds the same season. Only if you store the (opened) packaging cool and dry, the seeds will still be viable for one or a few years. Be frugal with seeds : Do not sow more than necessary. The seeds germinate very well, often more than 90%. This is one of the reasons why our professional seeds are more than worth their money, especially if you do not have to throw away any unnecessary seedlings. If you are not satisfied with a delivery, please let us know. We will always look for a solution that you are satisfied with. If that does not work, you will get your money back. You can count on your order being sent within a maximum of 3 working days.
