You might know NEFFA as MYCOTEX, which is the name of the mycelium-based material that we produce. In the past three years we have become so much more than just a material though: we have evolved into a fully automated manufacturing method for all kinds of biofabricated materials. This is why we decided to change our name to NEFFA, which stands for New Fashion Factory. The name MYCOTEX is now only used to describe the mycelium-based material that is made for the NEFFA manufacturing system.
