The Role

We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team here at iwell. This role is crucial in supporting our growing scale-up environment, ensuring all legal aspects of our operations are meticulously handled. As part of a passionate team, you will have the opportunity to shape the legal framework of a company making significant strides in renewable energy and a meaningful impact on the environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to the management team and other departments.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, particularly in the renewable energy sector.

• Manage relationships with external legal firms and consultants.

• Oversee the company's corporate governance and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Handle disputes and litigation matters as necessary.

• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and advise the company on potential impacts.

Requirements

• A law degree from a reputable university.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal counsel role, preferably within the renewable energy or related sectors.

• Proven experience in corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

• Fluent in Dutch and trained in Dutch Law
