About your role

As part of the Indirect Sales B2C team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing your distribution and reseller network that sells our Fairphone products to the consumer market in the Netherlands. In doing so, you will work closely with Channel Marketing in your territory as well as other departments, making for a smooth commercial relationship between the parties that continues to form the foundation for the growth of Fairphone.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Key Objectives
  • Drive Sales Growth & Strengthen Partner Relationships: Achieve volume goals and deepen strategic connection with key accounts.
  • Effective Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Ensure highly accurate visibility into the Dutch pipeline and sales progression.
  • Collaboration & Team Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional departments to enhance service delivery.
  • Improve Market Intelligence: Gather insights to fuel growth strategies and feed product development loops.
  • Increase Brand Awareness and Representation: Enthusiastically promote Fairphone's mission at major events and partner touchpoints.
Your Key Responsibilities
Drive Sales Growth & Strengthen Partner Relationships
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets within the Netherlands, contributing to the overall growth.
  • Build and nurture strong strategic partnerships with new & existing partners
  • Enhance partner engagement by offering timely support, addressing challenges, and uncovering new growth opportunities together.
Effective Forecasting & Pipeline Management
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting by consistently managing the sales pipeline and providing timely updates.
  • Track sales progress and adjust strategies to meet both short-term and long-term sales objectives.
Collaboration & Team Alignment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure smooth service delivery and a positive partner experience.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and feedback to improve team processes and performance.
Improve Market Intelligence
  • Stay updated and provide valuable market insights by tracking industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences as well as industry best practices, product innovations, and sales techniques.
  • Gather insights from partners and customers to nurture your growth mindset and contribute to product development and marketing strategies.
Increase Brand Awareness and Representation
  • Represent Fairphone at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to build brand awareness and establish a strong presence in the market.
  • Communicate Fairphone’s story and values with enthusiasm to attract potential partners and consumers.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Experience in partner/account management, preferably in the B2C of the Netherlands.
  • Passion for sales and understanding of the smartphones or consumer electronics industry.
  • Experience in building and executing strategic growth plans.
  • Strong planning skills and ability to drive sales initiatives.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships with new and existing accounts.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration experience.
  • Familiarity with Google Docs and Sheets for business communication and case development.
  • Experience selling to direct partners and via distributors.
  • Hands-on, organised, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
