As we scale our impact, the complexity of our operations grows. We are looking for a Program Portfolio Manager to join our newly formed Strategic Delivery Office (SDO). In this pivotal role, you are the architect of our execution. You will bridge the gap between our bold sustainability roadmaps and daily operations, ensuring that every project we greenlight moves the needle on our triple bottom line: People, Planet, and Profit.
In this pivotal role, you don't just "manage projects", you curate the engine of our impact. Reporting to the Director of the SDO, you will design the frameworks that help Fairphone decide what to do, what to stop doing, and how to do it better. You will be the guardian of our focus, ensuring our resources are never wasted on initiatives that don't serve our core mission and goals.

• Strategic Portfolio Prioritisation: Develop and evolve the program portfolio strategy to ensure an ideal synchronisation between Fairphone’s long-term impact goals and our operational capacity, while keeping in mind current reality and constraints.
• Dynamic Prioritisation: Lead the "Value vs Effort" conversation. You will implement a prioritisation framework that considers impact, cost, and budget.
• Cross Functional Oversight: Act as the connective tissue between all departments, ensuring that complex, multi-year programs (like new product/new market launches or fair material scaling) stay on track.
• Mission Critical Risk Management: Identify portfolio-level bottlenecks, from global supply chain shifts to resource constraints, and proactively engineer mitigation strategies.
• Radical Transparency in Reporting: Communicate portfolio health and trade-offs to the Executive Team, providing the data-driven insights needed to make valuable decisions.
• SDO Foundation Building: As a key member of a newly formed team, you will help define the "Fairphone way" of delivery, selecting the right tools and lean methodologies that fit our unique culture.

• You have significant experience in Program/Portfolio Management, ideally within hardware, consumer electronics, or complex manufacturing environments.
• You understand that "success" at Fairphone is measured by more than just a launch date; you have a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives in mission driven organizations.
• You can navigate high stakes stakeholder environments with empathy and firmness, comfortably saying "no" to the good to make room for the great.
• You are proficient in PPM tools and lean/agile methodologies, but you prioritize outcomes over rigid processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree or PM/Portfolio certification
