About your role
We are seeking an inspiring and results-driven Team Lead for B2B Sales to shape and scale our growing B2B efforts. In this role, your focus will be on strategic leadership and team development, providing the vision and framework for our B2B organisation to thrive. You will lead a high-performing team that operates in an indirect, and for larger opportunities, direct-touch-sales model - collaborating closely with partners and end-customers without selling directly. You will be responsible for defining the B2B go-to-market strategy, optimising sales processes, and mentoring your team to achieve ambitious growth targets.

  • Market Adaptation: Successfully adjusting the B2B approach to meet shifting European market trends.
  • Operational Precision: Improving existing sales playbooks and processes to increase team efficiency.
  • Team Growth: Mentoring a high-performing team that feels autonomous and supported.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensuring the B2B roadmap remains perfectly aligned with Fairphone’s evolving product and impact goals.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a dynamic team of B2B professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and mission-driven environment.
  • Set and monitor performance targets for all territories, ensuring the team is equipped and motivated to exceed objectives.
  • Coach the team on complex negotiations and relationship management, acting as a high-level advocate for Fairphone's mission.
  • Build and maintain a culture of excellence, focusing on professional development and recruitment to scale the B2B department.
Strategy Optimization & Market Adaptation:
  • Fine-tune and adjust the existing B2B partnership strategy to stay ahead of market changes and competitive shifts.
  • Iterate on GTM plans for specific verticals (e.g., Enterprise & Government), ensuring value propositions remain relevant and compelling.
  • Analyze market trends and partner feedback to proactively pivot the team’s focus toward the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Optimize the B2B sales funnel, identifying bottlenecks in the current process and implementing improvements for better conversion.
Marketing and Sales Oversight:
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to define lead-generation strategies and ensure the team has the collateral needed for success.
  • Oversee the B2B sales funnel, analyzing data and pipeline health to ensure long-term sustainability of the sales organization.
  • Standardize sales playbooks, refining processes for funnel management, pipeline development, and partner onboarding.
Internal Collaboration & Strategic Insight:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Product, Operations, Marketing) to ensure the B2B team’s needs and market feedback are represented in company-wide decisions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership based on aggregated team data and market intelligence.
Your Skills & Experience
  • Proven leadership experience: Extensive experience in B2B sales leadership, with a track record of managing and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in the technology or electronics industry is essential; a deep understanding of sustainability is highly preferred.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to move from high-level strategy to process optimization without the need to manage individual accounts.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in English; proficiency in German or French is a significant advantage.
  • Mission-Driven: A passion for Fairphone’s social and environmental mission and the ability to translate that mission into a winning business strategy.
