Children grow, bikes do not!

BikeFlip is looking for two creative interns to join our Marketing team . Do you dare to think creatively about marketing campaigns? Do you have knowledge of social media, do you like to learn more about digital marketing, and do you like to get involved with the content? Then BikeFlip is looking for you!

Where are we now?

Children grow, bikes do not. And BikeFlip grows with them! BikeFlip offers a solution for all children who quickly outgrow their bicycle: a monthly subscription to a second-hand children's bicycle including repair and exchange service at home. This takes the worry off the parents and puts a smile on the children's faces. All bicycles are second-hand, which ensures that everyone can contribute to a sustainable and circular economy and that all bicycles can be enjoyed for as long as possible. Does the bicycle no longer fit? Then we will exchange it for a larger size and another child can be made happy with the handed-in bicycle. Our goal is to reduce the mountain of more than 4 million unused bicycles, to unburden parents through our fantastic service and to make children happy with our beautiful bicycles. We are a fast-growing company where you can make a big impact in a small team. Our delivery area is currently the Amsterdam region and the Utrecht region. In addition, new expansions are imminent.

What are you going to do?

Within the Marketing team we have plenty of room for someone who wants to learn and try! We are looking for two interns who want to enrich their internship by working on our online marketing. You will combine this with your own assignment.

We are looking for one intern who, in addition to daily activities such as Instagram, Storytelling and content sourcing, also focuses on collecting data and can therefore create a strategic and creative content calendar and plan for BikeFlip. In addition, we would like to see your insights and input with working on campaigns and promotions. This can be in the form of conducting interviews and making videos, for example.

The other internship is more focused on offline marketing. In addition to your daily tasks such as setting up events, increasing offline visibility and setting up an offline marketing strategy that can be used when expanding to new delivery areas, you will work with the marketing team and assist where necessary.

In addition, interns can occasionally help out in the company itself, such as improving customer contact or logistics. A good change! You will work at our office in Maarssen, but can also work from home if you wish.

Who are you?

• You radiate energy and want to contribute to the sustainable BikeFlip adventure.
• You have sufficient experience and ideas about creating offline and online content and you dare to use it creatively.
• You have good communication skills.
• You are independent and assertive.
• You are an expert in social media, especially Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• You are handy with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Canva (not mandatory, but useful).
• You know your way around WordPress.
• You are creative and flawless in writing texts.
• You write and speak Dutch and English flawlessly.
• You have an affinity with (repairing) bicycles and a circular economy is a plus.
